   Hi Liz, after five months online IM, I have various sites and none of them have made me a $1 (I have an adsense site that has made me $0.84 to date!

   I have one site with a signing up form & free give away, but no one has downloaded the free ebook! So no list!

   I pretty much just need someone to look and tell me what I’m doing wrong. This help would no doubt involve mentoring, but since I’ve made no money, can’t afford it.

   Anyway, the question of “help me to help you” was asked and so I answered it!

   Thanks for asking. I have been the broil with web hosting for over a month, and have as a result been unable to take any advantage of your QFP or MOIP promotions (which I pchsed about that time. After many years with general use of the system, I really have been hammered. Live rurally and only get hi spd internet via satellite (this is the new part of my user world). Have just pchsd the web domain as defined above and will next set the web site. Them perhaps I will be able to get to holding my end of things. All I can do with the new sat set up is the internet access itself. Web Hosting and other Promised optons are pretty much not useable. I don’t complain, and look at all this as a learning curve. It’s a tale I intend to tell (it’ll make a good series of how to/Not to articles).
   So Back on track, I really believe when I can use what you have been putting up for my benefit, It will be to my benefit.

   I loved how you showed us an actual content site you made. I already have another program that creates content sites, but the one you shared looks more versatile and easier to use. It won’t be long before I have my first site up and can start driving traffic to it.

   Do you have a good resource for header graphics to use on content sites?

   With all due respect, you would be more of a help to me if you didn’t spread yourself so thin. You’re into so many different things it makes me question how well you know the subject. An example is the email today asking for our opinions; included in that email is an upsell for 4MM for $4.95, I probably missed something but I didn’t see any price of $4.95. I see a price for $197 or $197 and $47 monthly.

   I have a full time job as a lumber broker, I have kids, what I don’t have is a lot of time; the above email took me to an opt-in page, then I had to read a whole sales letter, download and read a heavily redacted PDF that amounted to nothing of value…really. 15 minutes of my valuable time.

   My point is, the respect I have for your recommendations and opinions is taken down a few notches when I’m constanly receiving recommendations for many different products. I’m getting to the point where I just skim, ignore or delete your emails…and I don’t want that to happen.

   Sorry to be so Blunt Liz., but opinion is of no value if I’m not honest with you.

I would like to see you do a review of…say the top 5 ways actual students are making money and rate them in terms of how complicated they are, the degree of knowledge needed, investment $$ etc. like a product review with star ratings. Then, of course your product or coaching that led them to success. Then show a case study.

    Each excellent sales page, out there, is pushing a shockingly/disappointingly less promising ebook/video/step-by-step blueprint/membership site etc.

    If, in stead, those ebooks covered all the promises and were really written in a way a two year old monkey would understand, etc., things would look a LOT differently for everyone! Agree?

    I’m being daily bombarded by an amount of equally excellent email offers, each one topping any previous offers in urgency (you need this! Act now!)… I can hardly breathe!

    Each Guru, out there, who’s pushing a product, never gives me the opportunity to digest the content of whatever I bought (I am after all a beginner) before pushing upon me yet another product. And since I’m not in a better position than I was 4-5 years ago, it makes me feel less than a monkey among you giants Not too good for the relationship!

    The tune of pushing is becoming a bit ugly nowadays. Each Guru (I try to be on the list of a few good ones) is trying the latest techniques in order to sell as much as possible in a minimum amount of time. Each time I’m interested in a product, as soon as I push the “Pay Now” button, a new and more expensive offer is displayed… and when I get by it (whether I buy it or not) yet another urgent OTTO is displayed, and another, and another… Even if I don’t buy anything and try to close the window, I get an instant price reduction, in the hope that I’d change my mind. There are even emails, often in duplicates or triplicates that I receive for several days, regardless of the fact that I already have bought the darn product… they want to make sure I noticed them!

    Personally, I’m not quite theoretic/literalist. This means that I read slowly – especially when reading gets technical … (English is, btw, my third language :-)… Furthermore I’m 50 years old and, honestly Liz, I’m not through reading the ebooks I bought half a year ago. Why? Because I bought many others in the mean time. Furthermore, what I learned six months ago is probably outdated today (if not forgotten by me). Heck, I have bought ebooks that I never got the chance to read – believe it or not!

    I’m now trying to rely on videos, since they solve my slow reading problem. I prefer the kind of videos where I can look over the shoulder of an expert, rather that those which are repeating what the book says in slides and bullet points.

    I need a dedicated expert who can monitor my progress.
    I need step-by-step instructions (preferably videos) that cover one thing at a time.
    I need to see and feel satisfactory results in each of : setting things up/creating autresponder sequences /creating a website/promoting/money coming in – the latter would be nice:-) …before carrying on with the next part.

    I don’t know if anyone agrees. I may not be your typical reader. But… if you can do that, you’d be my HERO. I don’t know if you have the time or capacity for that, but I’m sure you have the talent and the potential.

    I hope this will help you in understanding - at least - some of us.

To back up a little bit, the first video had us go to “godaddy” to see if a domain was availible….you purchased it…but then we went to set up a hosting account, and that domain at godaddy was never mentioned again….you set up your hosting, I beleive, under your own name. That was a disconnect too, so I’m lost why you would purchase the domain at one site, go to a different place to purchase hosting but not use the domain name you purchased at godaddy. Sorry, but for some of us, we need a little clearer direction as to why you did that. Thanks…I still look forward to getting this going with you.

    At first I wasn’t going to reply as it has all been said already but then I realised that my repeated message just adds weight to what has already been said so here goes.

    It seems to me that, not all, but a good majority of people who are replying here, are beginners at this and lack of finance is a major problem. A repeatable plan that could have us quickly earning a small regular income would then allow us to purchase what we may need to get set up along the way e.g. autoresponder service etc. etc. or it could just be repeated until the required income is achieved.

    I have noticed that a lot of extremely well known marketers are jumping on the bandwagon (proves its needed) and doing lessons, videos, or programs for people in our situation but they are all attached to whatever they are selling - their ebooks, software or whatever and you have to buy the product to work the system or get a business setup. To my mind a much better idea would be for marketers to help people with the system/setup first and with no strings attached. Then I am sure they would stick with that marketer and purchase whatever they had to sell in the future especially if it added value to whatever had already done.

    I hope that makes sense. I know what I’m trying to say but its hard to put into words. Sorry, I got a bit off track too. What do I personally need…..all of the above in all the messages lol.

No, I build web sites for local businesses and get them back links all for free because I do not want them to be hustled and robbed by liars and thieves, which there is no shortage of.. I know how to get top search engine rankings every time.. ad that is what I have done for a small group of businesses.

Do they have limited band usage and how do I know how much I will need, can I get sub domains with them (whatever they are) . Then how do I do split testing? Talked about alot but how does one do it? Who do I use for an autoresponder, ad tracker, conversion tracker, shopping cart etc , as they all supply different levels of service which requires research. What should I try to do first, SEO, articles, PPC etc.

    The above also starts adding up to alot of money if you are paying for it as you may not have the time or skills to do it yourself.

    With the above so far I have read information that says if you don’t pick the right one, do it right way etc it can have dire consequences - wasted money, shut down, quarrels with your hosting service, can’t get to your money. The list goes on.

    This means I have spent more time creating spreadsheets of what this or that service offers than actually putting anything up on the net.

    One guru say’s this is the best thing since sliced bread, trouble is a different guru will say “no, his or a friend of his has the best” so you have to do a comparison or else you spend lots of money on something that isn’t going to do what you need or want.

    At the moment alot of guru’s are offering courses on internet marketing - aaaahhhhhh who do you pick more comparison, more time used or money spent trying them out.

    The absolute biggest mistake most of the training courses I have come across have made is that they make assumptions about what a person knows and as they are not qualified “people trainers” the steps or explanations are not always logical or practical for that level of training. Nor do they make it easy to find out about what you don’t know. Using the example of split testing – it was talked about why you should do it and how important it can be to conversions etc but there was no sublink on that page or anywhere in the site that I could find that told me how you went about doing this. More research. Same with talking about SEO but how do you go about actually submitting to search engines?

    There seems to be a never ending supply of testimonials from people on websites that say “I have done I/M for x amount of years and haven’t made any money, spent hundreds or thousands of dollars, been shut down etc, etc until I discovered this course or product etc” Because I do not want to be one of those people and I’d rather do it to the best of my ability from the start, using “best practises” as one should for any business, I find that I am doing nothing due to feeling overwhelmed and confused.

    Also, enrolled in the $4.95 4MM program. It does cost more on a monthly basis, but the initial info received is very revealing. I now know a lot more than I did about the little secrets I have not been doing because I did not know how. I have had no continuity . That is about to change. You covered this in your traffic videos, but I missed it until it was reemphasized in some material I received. I will need a bit of help to set up Wordpress as I have never done it. Blogger has been the one I used.

    Have enjoyed your traffic videos. Now there is a real step-by-step program. The second time around with these videos is helpful to me as you go soooooooooooo fast in them I get lost. Do you take energy pills? If so, let me know what it is.

There’s a lot of steps to do when posting to a blog, how to write it, how to post to many sites etc. I have written the list, but still forget.

    I don’t want a transcript - perhaps just a few notes. Sorry - it’s quite hard work!

    Also it’d good to have a ‘new product instant review’ forum.

    We all get offers everyday. I bet you probably get them first. It’d be great to post to a forum - “hey- this product has come from x (and usually y,z,a!) - have other members heard of it, used it, seen something similar?”

    The whole point would be a quick, fast review. Possibly because the offer price seems so good!

    Perhaps it already exists - if so please let me know.

    Lastly - Liz’s products are great and do exactly what they say. I use a lot of them . But I too would like people to review my work so that it will make some £$. Then I can repeat the process.

    I really love that you WANT to help others succeed! My biggest problem is finding the right focus. I get so bombarded with info. There are so many things I want to do that I don’t know where to start. Also, in the beginning of trying to make money online, I don’t know how much time I should be devoting to each project-do I focus for a month on article marketing & then try to add in Social networking, or should I be doing it all at the same time.

You will never get that step-by-step how-to that you all are looking for. It just won’t happen. If they give it all away the game will slowly die. Very few will get in the Internet game, the cat and mouse game. Think, one sale after another without any customer svc and how your doing with your first product and may i assist you with anything? How about all these seminars they hold in San Fransisco and Australia and other parts of the world where they all gather to come up with some new ideas and products to sell to there money making list. They all recommend each others products and services. Dear readers it’s all a game. Wake-up and smell the coffee. Don’t be a victim and use the brain GOD gave you. To succeed in this business you’ll have to do the same thing they do. Make money from the desperate people that have your same dream. What goes around will eventually come around. If you make money in any business do it helping others advance by adding more life to life. Anyone who falls

    I guess my biggest hurdles right now are TIME, MONEY & partial INFORMATION OVERLOAD. I have been trying to market online for almost 4 years now, and haven’t made any substantial money yet. I have learned a lot, and know what I want to do and what I am passionate about, so information overload seems to be slowly diminishing! (Thank heavens! :D)

    I am a stay at home mom, but with cleaning the house, making meals, running errands and trying to entertain my almost four year old, (who seems like he’s going to bounce off the walls some days), it seems near impossible to spend quality time online to get some stuff done. (I read somewhere that you have 5 kids!!? I’d LOVE to know how you did it!)

    Then there’s the fact that we only have one computer, so I am sometimes fighting for computer time. My husband makes decent money as a recycle truck driver up here in Canada, but our long list of bills doesn’t call for a new computer at the moment.

    Anywho, to sum it up, I guess I just want to know how I can effectively manage and organize my time on the limited time I actually do have for my Internet Marketing ventures, and what would be the easiest, simplest and QUICKEST way to make money RIGHT NOW, to help fund my business.

    I am creating a product right now, and have made a list of things I need/want: professional graphics, ($500), dedicated hosting, ($450/year), and other software and info products I have researched to help me launch my site successfully. ($800-on sale, Hint: the butterfly is expensive!! ;D)

Almost all the readers are innundated by information and want a step by step guide. What is it - the domino effect?

    Not that it’s a bad idea, it just seems like more of the same. it’s like one marketer does something and before long everyone else is doing exactly the same!

    I’m glad someone mentioned the poor quality plr material out there.. frankly a lot of it belongs in the dustbin.
