Many of you asked about how to find a niche. Well, there are several ways, and in “The Guru Blueprint” Web Workshop Coaching (which you can get in on at www.GivingItAll.com) I’m going to be teaching several ways, but I wanted to take a minute here and show you a quick and easy way to find a profitable niche that you can create a product around.

First, you’ll need to get a copy of James J Jones’ Micro Niche Finder by going to tomeymarketing.com/recommends/NicheFinder

The following video will show you how it works.

Now James shows a few techniques in the video above, but you need to use it to find niches to create products around. Using Micro Niche Finder, I found that people were searching for information related to DIY spa treatments.

So now my job is to start in on some research and see what kind of products would work for this market.

Right off the top of my head, I know a low cost ebook would work here. Maybe even finding several spa owners to interview about things can people do at home to have a “spa day” for themselves. Probably an ultimate product would be a video series on the topic.

If I choose an ebook, I can research places like Google.com and EzineArticles.com and make an outline of what I want the ebook to be about. Then find someone over at Guru.com or Elance.com to create the product for me. It’ll cost me a few hundred bucks, but will save me a load of time.

If I do an interview product, I’ll have to find several spa’s and try to talk the owners into helping me.

If I do a video product it would probably cost a fortune, but could also make me a fortune.

Since I don’t have any experience in this market, I would probably first create an ebook. There’s little risk there.

Probably hands down the best resource on creating an ebook is Joe Vitale’s and Jim Edwards’ 7 Day Ebook. I got this product in 2004, and it’s probably one of the best investments I have ever made because it really taught me all about creating an ebook. So, let’s look at all of this step by step…

1. Find your profitable niche by using Micro Niche Finder which you can get by going to tomeymarketing.com/recommends/NicheFinder
2. Once you find your niche decide what type of product you’ll be creating for it. Remember if you know nothing about the niche, an ebook is the less risky product to create out of all your options.
3. Research your market and create an outline of the things you want covered in the ebook.
4. Either hire someone to create your product for you or create it yourself. If you’ve never created an ebook before, I highly recommend you get 7 Day Ebook from tomeymarketing.com/recommends/7DayEbook

Over the past few days, we’ve talked a lot about why so many people are failing online.

Basically if you’re just looking to make a few thousand dollars extra a month, keep buying all those products out there, and doing all the little things to make that few extra thousand a month.

However, for those of you who really want a business that allows you to achieve your dreams of being financially free, I’ve got a blue print just for you. Today, we’re going to create an entire step-by-step system that will allow you to create an empire of products just like I have and really cash in by doing nothing but recruiting affiliates to promote those products for you…

Let’s get started….

When you get started with your product empire, the first thing you have to do of course is duh…. Create products. I highly recommend that you start off by creating 3-5 products to get your empire started…..

So, this all gets started with product creation, but how do you know what to create?

Well, that all starts with niche market research. Once you find your niche, that’s where product research comes in.

In “The Guru Blueprint”, I’ll be teaching about both of these in depth. My model uses Internet marketing products because that’s my main niche, but I’ll also be teaching you about creating products for any other niche you may want to go into. That’s what makes this coaching so unique. It’s for anyone and for any niche.

Now once you’ve picked your niche (or even niches), decided what kind of products you’re gonna create, it’s time for the actual product creation process…

In “The Guru Blueprint”, you’ll get to watch me create an ebook, an audio product, and even the biggest seller of them all, a video product.

So, let’s look at these three steps…

1. Pick your niche
2. Decide what your product is going to be about and what format to deliver it in.
3. Create your product

Since you will need 3-5 products, you will complete these steps 3-5 times…

You also have two choices with product creation. You can either create your own product or pay someone to create it for you. With Internet marketing products, I always create my own, however the other niche products, I always hire someone to create them for me.

So the first part of our blueprint is Product Creation…

I Product Creation
a. Pick your niche

The next part of this blueprint is setting up your marketing system. Your marketing system consists of:

1. A sales page
2. Download page
3. Order taking process
4. An upsell product
5. A backend system

Let’s take a look at all of these individually…

1. Your sales page - Your sales page is what will convince your visitor to buy.

You’ll need to know how to build this site and write or hire someone to write the sales message for you.

2. Your download page - Your download page is what delivers the product to the buyer.

You’ll also need to know how to set one of these up.

3. Your order taking process - Since we are building a product empire and using affiliates to promote the products for us, your order taking process will have to blend with your affiliate program. There are a lot of options, but what I do and use makes it super easy for affiliates to promote my products with no problem, and it also makes it easy for my customers to get their products. This is a crucial setup process.

4. An upsell product isn’t mandatory, but if you don’t have one, you WILL be leaving thousands upon thousands of dollars on the table. The real key to making massive profits is within your upsell.

5. Your backend system - Now here’s where it all comes to profits. Once your affiliate gets you a customer, you can make money off that one customer over and over again as long as you have a backend system in place.

Just what I’ve given you so far is worth thousands. Actually hundreds of thousands because it’s the foundation of my business! We’re not done yet though. There is one last part to this blueprint and it’s the Affiliate Recruitment System.

Your Affiliate Recruitment System is the part that makes you your money. Yes, you must have good products, good customer support, a good marketing system, but without this last key ingredient, you wont make any money.

So you’re first step in creating your Affiliate Recruitment System actually starts in your Marketing System when you put the technical side of your affiliate program into place with your order taking process.

Once you’ve done that, it’s time to create an affiliate hub site. This site has all your products hosted on it, and invites all visitors to the site to sign up as your affiliate. The sole purpose of this site it to recruit affiliates who will sell your products for you.

So, instead of you trying to promote several products, you’re promoting one site to get others to promote your products for you. This is what leverage is all about. Just like my first post in this series stated…

Would you rather go through all the tedious marketing tactics to promote all your products and make 100 sales at say $10 each (you’d make $1000) or would you rather promote 1 site and get 10 affiliates that would each make you 100 sales of that $10 product which you split the sales with the affiliates and make a $5000 profit?

So your Affiliate Recruitment System is vital in it’s setup, but also actually getting affiliates.

Okay, in the last email I gave you my exact formula for success. (You can see it at imtruth.com/im-truth-newsletter/oh-yeah-youre-gonna-totally-fail)

Really, that’s my total formula along with many of the top marketers online, and as I said, there’s no reason that you can’t be doing the exact same thing and it doesn’t matter what niche or what your interests are.

I like to make money. Being able to make money online is a passion I have, and within that passion is the love for teaching others to do what I do. I truly want everyone who wants to be successful online be just that.

However, being an Internet marketer is not my ultimate dream. My ultimate dream is being retired so I can volunteer for the causes I believe in, and doing the others things in life that I truly love like traveling. I also want to learn to speak several languages, play a few different instruments, do a few extreme sports I used to do and a ton of other things.

That’s my ultimate dream and being an Internet marker will get me there… Within the next 10 years I will retire (yes, way before I’m even 40 years old) and do the things I truly love.

I’m telling you this because you can create an empire of products that you can have a ton of affiliates selling for you, and not give a flying flip about the niche they are in. You have to care about the quality and your customers, but you don’t have to care about or be passionate about the topic of your products.

So now that I have dispelled that myth, let’s talk about the type of products you can create…

The main information products that people buy online are ebooks, audios (be it audio ebooks, interviews, etc), videos, and membership sites.

I’ll be honest with you…

Membership sites can be great. For me, they’re way too much work. So, I try to stay away from those. However, ebooks, audios, and videos are selling better than ever and in this fast paced world, people want the exact info they need and they’re willing to pay for it.

So when you start to create your product empire, you need to think about the format that you want your products to be in…

Ebooks are still selling, and they’re an incredibly easy product to create and pretty cheap to get created if you don’t want to do the work.

Audios are a little more in demand, and if you provide the transcripts with the audios you can keep both those that like to read text and those that would rather listen happy. Every ebook I’ve ever sold, when I add both the audios and the transcripts to it, I always make more sales.

Videos… Now these are hot. People learn much better by watching. Well, I should say most people. Creating videos takes a little more technical experience though. Create a video product showing someone how to do something, and you’ll have a hot seller almost every time.

Here’s the problem though…

Most people don’t even know how to create an ebook, much less an audio product or video product.

So in the next Web Workshop Coaching, not only will I be teaching you how to pick hot niches for your products, but I’ll also be teaching you how to create these products.

Will start with creating an ebook, move one to creating and audio product, and then finish up with creating a video product. Yep, you’ll be able to watch me create three different types of products.

And don’t worry… It wont end there. I’ll even show you how to setup websites for these products and download pages. I’m not going to be leaving anything out. Will start all the way from the very beginning and go to the very end.

Okay, that’s it for now. Today we’ve learned we don’t have to have a passion for our products and the type of digital products you can create to sell. Tomorrow we’ll be putting this all together in a total step-by-step system, and I’ll also tell you every single aspect of what will be covered in the last Web Workshop Coaching of the year called “The Guru Blueprint”…
